Statement of Faith
The Holy Bible is the inspired word of God and is the basis of our statement of faith. Lighthouse Community Church of San Diego is committed, as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, to share the good news of salvation to lost mankind. We further believe the following:
Biblical Authority – We believe that the Bible is the final authority in all matters of belief and practice because the Bible is inspired by God and bears the absolute authority of God Himself. Whatever the Bible affirms, we accept as true. No human opinion or decree of any church group can override the Bible. Even creeds and confessions of faith which attempt to articulate the theology of Scripture do not carry the Scripture’s inherent authority. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:20, 21)

Church History
Lighthouse Community Church of San Diego was established on January 26, 2020. Our first services were held on El Cajon Blvd. in California for 2 months. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to meet in a building for 1 ½ years. Our worship, teaching, and prayer services were held via Facebook.
In July 2021, we held our first service in a physical location since the pandemic began at the 655 W. Broad Way location. Our Bible study and prayer meetings, on the other hand, still continue on Facebook and this website. We are presently in the planning stages of developing more permanent facilities as the COVID-19 situation is mitigated.
